As the weather gets warmer we want to wear something weightless. This semi-transparent stitch pattern will make a perfect top for hot summer. Easy to knit, pleasant to wear. If you use bamboo yarn for your project, you will feel comfortable even in hot weather.
Yarn shown in this swatch: Knitca Lovely 100% bamboo yarn, color 4755 Tan
Needles: US size 6 (4 mm).
Cast on multiple of 4 + 2 stitches. Add 2 more selvage stitches if you want to make a nice-looking edge. Row 1 (right side): knit 1 stitch, *knit 2 stitches together, 2 yarn overs, SSK*, repeat from * to * as necessary, then knit 1 stitch.
Row 2 (wrong side): purl 1 stitch *purl 2 stitches, knit 1 stitch, purl 1 stitch* repeat from * to * as necessary, then purl 1 stitch.
Repeat rows 1-2 till necessary for completing your project.
You can also work according to the chart. Pattern repeat is marked by red frame.
