Stitch pattern with shadow effect

It's Friday 13th and I submit 13th stitch pattern to my stitch pattern library. Isn't it a weird coincidence...

The diamond motifs created by slip stitches in this pattern are hardly noticeable if you look at the garment directly. But when you change the angle a bit – here they are – nicely shaped diamonds. Using this pattern in a garment is an invitation to play hide-and-seek – lots of fun. You will definitely attract attention in a sweater made with this pattern. For best result don’t use this pattern for the whole garment, use it as an accent.
