Simple and cute lacy pattern

Lately I've been experimenting with texture. Take a woolen sweater, for example - first thing that comes to mind (my mind, at least :-)) is cabled pattern and turtle neck. But what if we make a lacy sweater out of pure wool in, say, light worsted weight that looks and feels warm.

Below are photos of a swatch I made using a nice lacy pattern that can be used as an overall pattern for a sweater, tunic or scarf. The yarn I used is Knitca Superwash in Beige color. If you like the idea go ahead and knit it - stitch pattern is explained and charted in our Stitch Pattern Library.

Happy knitting!
