Super easy, extra warm and cute woollen hat

Today I eventually released a pattern for a super warm and easy-to-knit hat I call Tundra Hat. This hat is warm enough to be worn in tundra, taiga or any other cold part of our planet. And of course it's perfect for skiing, skating and snow tubing. You can wear it with or without pompom and make it solid or variegated color.

This hat has a long story. It started in August when I was looking for perfect gifts for my parents because we were going to visit them. My Mom asked for a warm no-frills hat as a best gift. I only had about a week till the trip so I picked garter stitch with a bit of purling at the bottom of the cuff and made the hat variegated using two strands of merino yarn in different colors. For my Mom I made a brown-beige color combination and she was happy with it.

When we returned home after the trip I made another one in blue hues and a big pompom. It looks cute and it's really warm.

I can't believe it took me so long to release the pattern. But eventually the pattern is ready to be ordered at

Stay warm :-)
