Today I was looking out the store window at gloomy-snowy-freezy January day we are having. The only thing that stands out all that "gloominess" is a splash of color on someone's hat or scarf. Bright colors have an amazing property - they make us smile. Let's wear colorful knits and bring smiles to people around us.
I searched our stitch pattern library and here are some bright and easy to knit colorful patterns you can use for your knits. Enjoy :-)
1. This stitch pattern is my favorite color pattern. I used it for Lollipop jacket and hat and have plans for more projects with this stitch. See detailed instructions here.
2. This stitch pattern will add an interesting touch to a sweater, cardi or hat. It will also look good on socks and mitts. To create this pattern you will need 2 colors and that makes it perfect for using your odds and ends. It's a bit more complicated than the previous pattern, but the look is well worth the trouble. Very nice stitches! I do know few of them, and I will definitely, try the rest. My fave is the second one, but it may be just the colors as they are all really cool. Thanks for sharing, cheers, Monika.
